TREES

The series Trees started with the idea of using the simplest extruded forms and figuring out how to make them work together.

I wanted the forms to stand for what they are. It took me a long time to figure out how to separate the space and the importance of the different lengths and the intersection of small rings and nests as spatial dividers. The Trees are the essence of form; they are about lines in space, separation of space, texture, and color in space.
